Welcome to the online basecamp for the Range Adventure Riders 2008 trip from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. And back. 6.000+ miles and 3 weeks of adventure riding through some of the most incredible scenery and natural beauty in the world. Our group of riders are on a journey-of-a-lifetime and want to share our experience with you. We have taken over 18 months to plan our route, coordinate logisitics, secure power equipment and conduct numerous training runs. A significant amount of human energy and capital have gone into making this a memorable adventure. Our peak experience will be riding the legendary Haul Road from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay as we follow the Alaskan pipeline over the Brooks Range and the North Slope tundra to the shores of the Artic Ocean. Throughout our trip, we will traverse vast amounts of wilderness, trek along historical trading routes, navigate through glaciated valleys, cross roaring waters, battle nature's elements and circumvent an untold number of mountain ranges. We will engage a variety of local culture along the way while doing our best to avoid jail. Enjoy the ride.
